Mark DeVries directed the award-winning documentary Speciesism: The Movie, which was featured on Amazon Prime and remains widely used as an introduction to animal ethics. He additionally pioneered the use of aerial drones to investigate environmental issues, and continues such work with Mercy For Animals. He is also an attorney, licensed to practice law in Washington, DC.
